Perfectly simple idea and great execution. Just the right amount of customization available without being overly complicated. This app does one thing very well. Ive changed my keywords several times to get it just right over the past week and am very happy. Customer service is also great. I had a few problems with the push alert system at first and the dev responded to my emails instantaneously and my issue was resolved.
This app makes finding useful news stories so easy to do. I have had no problems with it; its very fast and efficient, and it does what its supposed to very well. And this review was not solicited in any way. Thanks, Caustic.
This saves me the time Id normally waste wading through thousands of RSS feeds.
Ive set it to alert me when nuclear missiles are heading towards where I live so I can prepare myself for World War III. Amazing app, it will save my life one day.
Some bad moments
Loved this app before I updated to iOS 4. The author says an update is on the way.
However, it is a bit frustrating that an update wasnt made available before the release of iOS 4 rather than after the fact. The new SDK was offered to developers just for this reason. I guess the author wrongly assumed the app would continue to work. Not sure what to make of that kind of oversight.
If u have an iPhone running iOS 4, dont waste money on this app. Wait to spend it wisely when the update has been released. But then... BUY THIS APP cuz it rocks! ...knocks push-RSS apps out!
Forget their self-congratulating! It still crashes, but it takes longer. They claim in the upgrade blurb that the alert takes you to THAT story. It worked the first time, not since.

Perfect app ruined by update. Dont understand why it has been allowed to go sooo long without correction. Cant recommend.
I may reinstall when this is fixed, and may not. The lack of turnaround on this obvious, and repeatable issue is disappointing.
Even more so, is the lack of acknowledgement by the developer, that there are user concerns.
This was a great app; now it doesnt work any more! At All! Come on guys fix your app. Please
